Bernard Kelly 45 7 years Sexual Health Adviser - along with the usual Health Adviser responsibilities of undertaking pre-test HIV discussions, providing emotional/counselling support, assessing individual need and referring on to appropriate services, giving advice about sexually transmitted infections and getting partners tested and treated, etc. I am also involved in running the clinic we hold in Wandsworth Prison every week and along with Helen Webb take the lead on patient involvement at the Courtyard Living by the sea after my ridiculously large lottery win Still being here To keep my health, mobility and marbles into old age Historically, one is a woman called Sojourner Truth who was fearlessly fighting for human rights way back in the nineteenth century-saying pretty much the same things as activists like Angela Davies were campaigning for in the 1960s Wandering around the South Bank imagining I'm a free man I don't Nokia - I have no idea about models Nothing Anything involving chocolate Galaxy Bar Christmas Dinner Ben-because although it sounds so sweet its really about a psychopathic boys' love for his homicidal rat Distant Voices Still Lives Waitrose - but prefer is often different to afford Isn't it scandalous that although bus companies make huge profits I have been waiting here for ages for one to come along and know when one does it will just sail on by because it's too full Noisy eating What do you mean I'm not in charge?

I am a Consultant Physician. I am one of the senior doctors in the clinic and am involved in direct patient care but also working with the team to try and continuously modernise and improve our service as well as make it more patient friendly. I am also the deputy lead clinician of the South west London Sexual health and HIV network. We are working across south west London to ensure that all services across the sector work together to keep standards of care high across our patch. My role also involves a lot of training and teaching of doctors in training and GPs.
I hope to be still at the Courtyard Clinic as I love it here.
I guess getting my first consultant job at 31 was pretty quick. I was quite scared at first to be honest when it all happened so quickly but pleased as well. I now know, working in the NHS no matter how senior you get, we are always learning on the job, so no title or seniority will ever give you the right to say you know it all…there’s always more to learn.
I love working in the NHS. I guess as I get older and wiser I would like to have more influence about how the NHS serves patients. I think we can do a lot more to make it easier for patients to negotiate access to services. So what I’m saying I guess, is working more closely with the Department of Health. I’m not ready to leave the frontline just yet though as I love day to day patient contact.
My Dad. He taught me how to make a kite from bamboo, string and grease proof paper when I was 9!

Basic Instinct
Waitrose, but I'm usually in Sainsbos
I’m usually watching the people on the queue and wondering about their lives, hopes and dreams.
Shaking my legs constantly
I’d build a second floor for the HIV clinic so we have more space.. especially a bigger waiting room and computer terminals for patients to surf the web

My ambition is to get to a point where common sense prevails in the NHS (and for the diet to work in its 31st year) Fiona Davidson Sleep A pink car like Lady Penelope My friend’s Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Who is Michael Jackson? In and Out Supermarket? Have Harrods stopped delivering? Chocolate See Helen’s answer The toiletsA short interview with the interviewer, Wayne
I think it was while I was in the waiting room of the clinic, I was looking through one of the gossip magazines and I noticed a questions and answers style of interview with some celebrity. Much like this one, only without the celebrity!
Well, once the sensible questions were out of the way; about their career and their relationship with the clinic, I wanted to ask questions like the car they drive and the mobile phone they use. I think it gives us an insight to whether they're technically minded, trendy and fashionable with technology or whether they're ecological and all that!
Oh yes... it's all far too easy for me drop my professional hat and become as child-like as my two grandsons; I think that's why people say I'm good with children. But questions like, are you married, gay or straight were always going to be far too personal and then other stuff about clothes and holidays and 'who do you fancy?' might have been a tad revealing too!
I've no idea. I'd like to think so but like the rest of the website, these things take time. I'm just grateful that Bernard, Helen and Mark have got the page started at least.
Absolutely and please do. I guess the quickest way is to send an email and I'll reply with the questions and they can just type the replies in the same email and send it back... if that's convenient! My email is at the bottom of every page on the site, in the footer.
